As of August 14th, 2021, the BIG DOGS jumped off the pandemic porch and got back to making the rounds of our favorite play areas. Our 15+ months of layin' around in the house have given us a bad case of carpet rash, some attitude, and a few extra "L.B.'s". Predictably, we are up to our old tricks plus a few new ones - and you'll also notice some new faces in the pack. We have allready had a chance to play some real tail-waggin' places - hopefully you caught a show. If not, stay tuned here for the next best chance to stop by the BDR stage for conversation and kibble. Meanwhile, be careful where you step ...and we will see you soon!
The dogs just finished a trifecta of gigs this month: Peabo's, a private Birthday Party and a great "homecoming" gig at Aurora Borealis. Bob Wikstrom, founder and long-time leader of BIG DOG Revue came home to the doghouse from AZ to say "Hi". He, and his lovely wife, Gena, added so much to the great party we had at Aurora Borealis.
The BIG DOGS had a great time last week, playing the final concert of the season at the Mill Creek Forum. What a great crowd, and dancers for days! Moves were bustin' from bar 4 of the first song, and the dancers never quit the floor from then on! That's just not normal! ...and the DOGS loved it! So much of what we do is fueled by the energy exchanges between band and audience. Looking forward to next year, for sure!
Stay tuned to this space for additional news on "coming soon" gigs that are in work at this moment. HOT DAWG!
